The Poland District Public Library celebrated its centennial and the grand opening of the new addition with ice cream and cake for the patrons on July 14, 2022
The November 8th story time was
attended by about 15 children.
The theme was corn.
The story was Bob & Rob & Corn on the Cob
The children enjoyed creating paper Indian corn using bingo dabbers to paint them.
Juice and popcorn were provided by Haver's Circle K.
Teel Farms donated corn for sensory bins.

The next story time will be November 22nd.
The theme will be turkeys.
The story will be Ten Fat Turkeys.
There will be a turkey-related craft.
Carrie Przelski, daughter of library trustee, Darlyne Przelski, donated a large Turkish rug for in front of the library fireplace and a smaller one for one of the tables in the new section of the libary.

The library received a Community Foundation grant to replace the windows in the old section of the basement. This project is planned for the fall of 2022.
This should help keep the library warmer and save on fuel costs!
